Rally to Support Locked-Out Carwasheros

Sat, Nov 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Yesterday, workers at Vegas Auto Spa in Brooklyn set up a picket line outside the car wash after being locked out by the business owner. The workers had gone to the National Labor Relations Board to present their case for a union election.

The owner then shut the car wash down and will not allow the employees back inside.

Workers and supporters who are picketing the facility are demanding workers be allowed back on the job, and that the owner recognize the RWDSU as the workers’ representative union.  The workers and their allies will rally outside of the car wash tomorrow at 10:30am.
