Want to Help Sisters & Brothers Affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and Hurricane Maria? Here’s How.

Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and now Hurricane Maria have had devastating effects on communities of working people, displacing families and bringing entire regions’ operations to a halt.

Both the Texas AFL-CIO and Florida AFL-CIO have set up Worker Relief Funds and are accepting donations that will be used to help support the working people who have been affected by the tragic storms. Donate to the Texas AFL-CIO’s fund here, and to the Florida AFL-CIO’s fund here.

Meanwhile, working people in Puerto Rico are likely to be without power for months in the wake of Hurricane Maria. The New York-based nonprofit, the Center for Popular Democracy, has started raising funds to help low-income communities of color in Puerto Rico affected by both Irma and Maria. Click here to donate.
