July Milena Henríquez Sampayo

Henríquez is a graduate of the University of the Atlantic Law School. She is an expert in Human Rights with eleven years experience as a defender of political prisoners, victims of forced displacement and women victims of gender based violence. She is a fourth semester student in the Masters in Human Rights program at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. Her thesis focuses on the relationship between mass incarceration and neoliberalism. Henríquez is a survivor of the repression against the political opposition at the University of the Atlantic and has been forcibly displaced since January, 2004. She is a lawyer at the Lazos de Dignidad Foundation, where she coordinates the Working Group in Support of the Incarcerated.

Gustavo Enrique Gallardo Morales

Gallardo is a graduate of the University of the Atlantic Law School. He is a Human Rights expert who for eleven years has defended political prisoners and represented victims of forced displacement in Colombia. He is a survivor of the repression against the political opposition at the University of the Atlantic and has been forcibly displaced since January, 2004. Gallardo is the President of the Lazos de Dignidad Foundation, a member of the National Directorate and the Human Rights Commission of the Marcha Patriótica, and Co-Coordinator of the International Commission of the Marcha Patriótica.
