Lowering New York City Construction Standards in Housing:

How are workers' lives being put at risk?  

Under the "interest" of constructing low-cost housing, the City of New York has lowered a number of industry construction standards. This has an adverse effect on maintaining a safe workplace in an industry that is by its nature already unsafe. This forum will examine what makes these worksites more unsafe and discuss what actions need to be taken to correct this.
