Speech anxiety, or fear of public speaking, is one of the most common phobias; however, it is also one that can be overcome!

Union and community activist, and Baruch College Toastmaster, Bobby Lee will lead a #NYC1u session on public speaking fundamentals, as well as techniques to ease the stress and dread that precedes public speaking engagements.

Identify any and all issues with public speaking for each session participant.

Develop solutions for individual participant issues.

Each participant will give a short speech by the end of the training.

This session is limited to 15 participants.

This session is made possible by the AFL-CIO; New York Paid Leave Coalition; Organizing 2.0; New York State AFL-CIO; New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO; Consortium for Worker Education
