NYCOSH Safety & Health Series: Using Lead and Asbestos Reports

Wed, Dec 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM to at 01:00 PM

Reports from certified lead and asbestos inspectors, contractors and laboratories include observation, analyses of materials and air sampling results. They can be easily misinterpreted to indicate an area is safe for workers when it is not. Monona Rossol will discuss how these reports can be unreliable and misleading. Monona is a favorite presenter of ours and is always informative and entertaining. She is well-recognized as an expert in chemical safety for workers and an advocate for making workplaces safer.
