ESSENTIAL INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY WORKERS

ARE

UNDER ATTACK

FROM WEALTHY CORPORATE BOSSES AT UNITEX CORPORATION

PLEASE COME OUT TO SUPPORT THESE WORKERS!

These unionized laundry workers are overwhelmingly Latinx immigrants. They wash the soiled bedlinens, gowns and other washables used by patients and staff at most NYC Hospitals. They have worked tirelessly and with dedication throughout the pandemic.

Now Unitex is rejecting workers’ proposals for COVID-19 safety and is demanding concessions in employee benefits. Unitex is also under investigation for alleged unfair labor practices by the National Labor Relations Board Region 2 and Region 22.

RALLY TO DEFEND ESSENTIAL INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY WORKERS:

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2020, 11AM
The corner of Spruce Street & Gold Street, in Manhattan, a few blocks from City Hall Park. This is outside of NY Presbyterian’s Lower Manhattan Hospital, one of the many NYC hospitals served by essential industrial laundry workers at Unitex Corp.
