32BJ Members Rally on High Line for Good Jobs and Work Conditions

Dozens of 32BJ members joined non-union building workers at a rally in front of a luxury condo on Manhattan’s High Line Thursday. The workers have been organizing and asking for better working conditions for almost a year. Last month, the anti-union condo board chair resigned and a new condo board member was elected who promised to find an “equitable solution” to the labor strike at the building. Workers were there last night to “welcome” the new condo board and ask them to meet with the union.
