On Wednesday afternoon, a dozen ironworkers walked off a job constructing a 16-story office building as part of the larger Brooklyn Navy Yard redevelopment project. They cited unsafe working conditions, lack of benefits, and poor pay as reasons for their action.

We are now four months away from the 2017 NYC Labor Day Parade, and the NYC CLC kicked-off our outreach this week by releasing the highlight video from last year’s parade.Take a minute to check out the fun we had last year, as we walked up 5th Avenue.
