NYC Community Board Applications Are Open!

Does your union have members that want to get more involved in their communities? Community Boards are the most grassroots level of New York City’s government and serve an advisory role providing recommendations to the City Council and the Office of the Borough President and working with City agencies to resolve local service issues. The NYC CLC offers various workshops to union members and retirees that include information on the City budget, Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP), Zoning Laws, application readiness and assistance, NYC government history, and understanding local community issues. For more information on our trainings and resources contact CLC Community Outreach Coordinator Xiomara Loarte at xloarte@nycclc.org or 917-225-2712.
