Support the NY Daily News Union!

On February 5th, the editorial staff of The New York Daily News announced they had unionized with the NewsGuild of New York, CWA Local 31003, with over 80% support from the newsroom. Since the announcement, management has refused to voluntarily recognize the Guild, and has begun an anti-union campaign. The Daily News is owned by Tribune publishing, which was just bought up by Alden Global Capital, a destructive hedge fund known for brutal cost-cutting measures in newsrooms across the country.

You can support the workers by visiting nydnunion.com and showing your support on social media. If your union advertises in the paper, the NY Guild asks that you withhold your advertising dollars until the workers are recognized.
