The New York City Labor Movement Celebrates May Day

Union members, immigration activists, elected officials, and allies took to the streets across the City on Sunday, May 1 in celebration of International Workers Day. Events were held in both Union Square and Washington Square.

Workers rallied in Washington Square Park, then marched to Foley Square where they were addressed by more supporters in elected office sharing their support for workers across all industries.
