CALL FOR ENTRIES! MAKE A POSTER FOR THE 2022 LABOR DAY PARADE!

The New York City Labor Day Parade on September 10, 2022 will celebrate 140 years since the first Labor Day Parade in Union Square.

Thousands of marchers will carry posters and wear buttons -- it could be your design!

Submit your entry to the 2022 Labor Day Parade poster contest  by August 20, 2022

Visualize your thoughts, ideas and concerns on this years theme: Workers Leading, Workers Rising

In 1882 marchers carried signs demanding an eight-hour workday; an end to child labor; equal pay for equal work; and urging people to "Agitate, Educate, Organize."

Specifications

1. Dimensions: The poster should be vertically designed [portrait] and delivered as a digital file. The dimensions must be 18" wide  x 24" long.

2. Format / Resolution: .jpg / 300dpi

3. Each participant can submit up to two [2] posters. 

4. For your participation to be valid, you will need to provide the following information:
  - Name
  - email
  - phone
  - union or other affiliation if available
  - Title of poster
  - File name of poster  (Files should be named following this scheme "LaborDay2022_first name_last name")
  - The following statement must be included: “The elements used for the creation of my poster are original and do not include third party’s intellectual property. With my participation in the contest, I grant the rights of free use of my work to the organizers of the NYC CLC Labor Day 2022 Poster Contest.

5. Files should be named following this scheme "LaborDay2022_first name_last name"
