Amazon Driver Speaks Out in NY Daily News

Ashley Mason delivered packages for Amazon for over a year. She was injured four times and was in so much pain that she couldn't work and was eventually fired. She never received any compensation for her treatment or missed time at work. Mason tells her story in an essay that ran in the Daily News this week.

"Amazon is able to get away with this because, on paper, I never worked for Amazon. Sure, I wore an Amazon uniform and drove an Amazon truck... Technically, though, I worked for one of Amazon’s 2,000 Delivery Service Partners, subcontractors that the company uses to shield itself from legal liability."
