Mount Sinai Postdocs on Strike!

Solidarity at Sinai! Postdocs and research scientists at New York's Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai began an Unfair Labor Practice Strike on Tuesday. After over a full year at the bargaining table, Sinai has stalled and refused to provide information necessary to move the bargaining process forward. Workers—members of Sinai Postdoctoral Organizing Committee-UAW—are pushing for a strong first contract that makes addresses the urgent need for housing access and childcare supports.
