Workers Rights Convening with NYC Comptroller Brad Lander

Join the Office of the NYC Comptroller for our inaugural Workers’ Rights Convening. Co-hosted with the New York City Central Labor Council, the theme of the first Workers' Rights Convening will be focused on Building Worker Power and will take place on Wednesday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at CUNY Law in Long Island City, Queens.

Leaders from across labor, advocacy, government, and academia will convene to discuss how they all can work together to support workers organizing and fighting for their rights across industries and workplaces. Co-hosted with the New York City Central Labor Council.

The program will include breakout rooms focused on the following topics:

Investor Stewardship and Worker Standards
Building Worker Power: The Role of Local Government
Building Worker Power: Unions, Worker Centers, and Communities.
