NYC Labor Votes
Building on the Labor Counts! Census 2020 campaign from 2018-2020, Labor Votes! will focus on educating, engaging and facilitating union members’ and their households’ ability to cast their ballot during the 2020 and 2021 elections. Labor Votes! is the member-to-member political program of the NYC Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

This week marked an important step forward in securing good family-sustaining, community-supporting union jobs in the offshore wind industry.
With the critical Georgia Senate races heading into runoff elections on January 5th, The New York City Central Labor Council, in conjunction with the national AFL-CIO, is hosting daily phone bank opportunities for NYC union members to reach out to union households in Georgia.

We can make the difference on Nov. 3. As union members, we come together and rise to the challenge when our communities need us. And right now, nothing is more important to the future of the labor movement and working families and our communities than voting.
As we head into the critical final days of the 2020 elections, the NYC CLC is conducting daily phone bank opportunities for NYC union members to reach out to other union households both in NYC and in battleground states.
